How is the transport mode selected?
We compare the deadline, weight, volume, cargo category, route, handling needs and budget. The result may be road, air, sea, rail or a multimodal combination.
Can LG1 handle a smaller consolidated shipment?
Yes. Smaller lots can be collected at a consolidation point and moved as groupage when this is practical for the corridor and cargo.
Can you coordinate with the supplier?
The scope can include supplier communication, pickup, document collection, packaging checks, consolidation and pre-shipment inspection.
Which documents are usually needed?
Typical documents include the commercial invoice, packing list, contract or specification and origin data. Certificates, declarations or permits depend on the product and destination.
Do you work with oversized or heavy cargo?
Yes, subject to route feasibility. Dimensions, weight, loading method, securing, permits and special equipment are checked before confirmation.
What determines the price and transit time?
The calculation depends on route, mode, chargeable weight or volume, cargo type, Incoterms, season, packaging, insurance, customs and additional services. The quotation states the current planning assumptions.
